I discovered this game when I bumped into a demo in Fry's. You don't know what you miss until after you play it. It is the most fun game I have ever played. I don't like to stay up late during the week days. But, for Guitar Hero, I can be up til 3 am even though I have a scary meeting scheduled in the next morning.I was not a XBox 360 fan. But, I have to admit that XBox has a cool design, expecially its USB functionality. When you hold a wireless guitar and play some cool songs, you certainly understand why so many people appreciate ROCK. I now become a ROCK fan too. I am listening AC/DC, Scorpions, Aerosmitch, Alice in chains, Guns N' Roses, Police, Nirvana...
After several hot nights, I jumped from Easy mode to Medium. I was happy. But, it was not the end. I got at least 10 times more happiness when I was able to pass a song in Expert mode. I have so many favorite songs in Guitar Hero 2.
I was ecstatic when I got my first 100% song in Expert mode. I would never forget this. It was Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box. I got it when friends and I had a Guitar Hero night. We had two guitars at that night. It was not in my place. It was in a friend's place. I was playing Professional Face-off against a friend. This friend is totally a game geek. Winning a game geek when you are not a geek is an honor. These geeks know way more than you in terms of game technics. You are less professional than them. You see how unforgettable that night is. A win against a professional geek and the first 100% in my favorite game! I tried plenty of times afterwards in my place. The closest I got was 99%. I guess it was the battle atmosphere triggered the perfection.I heard the Guitar Hero will be launching soon. Goody. You ROCK!
