A question suddenly flashes over

Which term do you like to use in your writing and talking? The first one for me is more preferable. Why? You may ask. I just feel the first one sounds more beautiful. It sounds more poetic. When I hear or sees the first term, I can picture something. But, when I hear or sees the second term, I just cannot think of any pretty scene. Interesting, funny, or weird, you name it..
